• Prepares and submits report on crime to superior.
• May assign subordinates to specific cases.
• May evaluate and prepare work performance reports on subordinates.
• May be designated according to rank as Homicide-Squad Captain; Homicide-Squad Lieutenant; Homicide-Squad Sergeant.
