This situation is recognized automatically in the system, and an alert is sent to the interested parties (alert recipients) actively and as quickly as possible. If the delivery medium permits, the recipients can navigate to detailed information about the causes of the alert, or to subsequent activities. Alerts might include:

-An important customer terminating a contract.

-Production standstill in a production unit.

-A budget being exceeded.
