Advisory review groups subordinate to the Defense Acquisition Board. The number of Committees is determined by the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition. The purpose of the Committee is to review DoD Component programs prior to a Defense Acquisition Board review in order to make an independent assessment and recommendation to the Board regarding the program.
