doppler imaging

With Doppler imaging, a probe generates sound waves typically at 2. 5 MHz. When encountering an object, sound waves are scattered or reflected back toward the probe from the object's interface with adjacent structures; this is repeated in many times per second to build up a moving real-time image of the heart.
