fungal enzyme

Enzymes are proteins found in all living cells. They catalyze biochemical processes but are not consumed in the process. As proteins, they are biodegradable and operate at specific pH values and at temperatures found in nature. Enzymes are fairly specific, and there is one reaction that is optimal for each. Fungal enzymes are used in various ways, and new applications are constantly being discovered. Enzymes can replace chemical catalysts in some industrial processes.
