interdigit interval

A multifrequency (MF) and dual tone multifrequency (DTMF) signal timing interval that is equal to the sum of the fall time, signal-off time, and rise time. The interdigit interval starts when the MF or DTMF signal duration ends. The interdigit interval ends when the next MF or DTMF signal duration begins.
