An amorphous silicon kV image detector that uses a cesium iodide scintillator directly deposited on the amorphous silicon as the X-ray convertor. The image detector uses a split data line to increase readout frame rate and reduce additive noise in the final images. The maximum pixel matrix is 2045 x 1536 with a pixel pitch of 194 microns.
