A war bunker, built in 1943 and nearly completely destroyed in 1947 by the British army, was turned into a renewable energy power plant, which provides provide the area with heat using a combination of "solar energy, biogas, wood chips and waste heat." It's theoretically enough to heat 3,000 homes and provide electricity to 1,000. It was completed in March 2013.
