From a sea-fort to a luxury hotel. Spitbank Fort, located off the south coast of England. This fort was completed n 1878, and remained unused until 2012 when it became a luxury hotel and spa that houses a circular plunge pool and sauna in its former rooftop gun emplacement, and its ammunition store has been converted into a wine-tasting room. Even with this grand transformation, the fort maintains many of its original naval features.
